'CONVERSATIONS'
An Exhibition of new work by photographer
David Cantor
2 - 30 MAY 2022
Once in a while, you find a place that strikes a chord; something about the character, something about the people, something about that thing that you can't quite put your finger on. Kahaila is just such a place. Situated at the northern end of Brick Lane, one of London's most iconic streets, Kahaila embodies a sense of continuity, calm and welcome. It also serves great coffee.
Back in October 2019, I was very lucky to be invited to stage a solo exhibition of my photography at Kahaila. It featured portraits of some of the people who live, work and play in and around Brick Lane and the surrounding streets of Spitalfields. The great news is that I've been invited back, there's a few familiar faces but mostly new work, new people. The dates: 2 to 29 May 2022.
If you're in London and fancy discovering the atmosphere, people and general feel-good factor buzzing around Brick Lane, why not drop into Kahaila? You'll find it at number 135, the web site address is HERE
